1-Butane Sulphonic Acid Sodium Salt Anhydrous (HPLC grade), also known as sodium butane sulphonate anhydrous, is supplied in 100 gm packaging with a purity of 99.0% and CAS No. 2386-54-1. It has a molecular formula of C₄H₉NaO₃S and a molecular weight of 160.16. The product appears as a white powder or lustrous flakes and forms a clear, colourless solution in water. It provides a controlled pH range of 5.5–7.5 and a minimum assay of 99.0%, with low loss on drying (max. 2.0%). It also offers excellent UV transmittance across multiple wavelengths. With a shelf life of 60 months, it is suitable for high-performance liquid chromatography applications.
